Praise Him in the Storm

Wow, I opened up the guestbook this morning and found entries from my daughters. Nothing like starting the day with a good cry! Thanks girls…I love you too!

And by the way…if you have never heard that song by “Casting Crowns” I suggest you borrow, buy, or download. It is powerful. And, we do praise Him in this storm.

I am back at the IU Med Center, although things are proceeding slowly now. My counts are way down and I was not able to receive treatment yesterday. I also have to avoid crowds and be very careful what I eat so I don’t get an infection. I am getting ready to go have my labs done this morning to see if they are back up today.

My sister from Philadelphia is staying with me this week. It’s great to have her here. She’s the one who writes guestbook entries from her dogs, so you can see we’re having plenty of laughs. That’s always a good thing! I also have Milez the Cat with me this week. He is the cat we adopted at the Humane Society a couple of weeks ago. He’s a great comfort and wonderful entertainment, even though he wakes me up during the night making doughballs on my tummy.

Yesterday, my sister and I strolled around Broad Ripple, and then took another jaunt to the north side. I ran into Scott Veazey when we stopped into Crate and Barrel. He actually had flowers and a loaf of zucchini bread in his car he was going to bring to me! Now, isn’t that a happy coincidence?

God is good!
Much Agape,
Ann
