Good News/Bad News

Randy, Meredith and I had a great weekend out at Camp Reveal. Andrew also came out for a while. The sunshine sparkled off the lake which was surrounded by trees that exploded with color. It was like looking into a bowl of Trix.

God is having a great time with his paintbrush! What a beautiful time of year. Everything about the weekend was extraordinary. I want to thank everyone who prayed for the kids going through Chrysalis because God showed up in a big way!

The next day I was able to have my treatment in Evansville. How wonderful it was not to have to get up before dawn to drive to Indy. I only have to do that once a month now!

Unfortunately, the treatment left me feeling pretty bad again. Now it seems I might have picked up a nasty bug. I have a fever, chills, and I ache all over. Crud. I was supposed to get a flu shot and just hadn’t gotten around to it yet. I think being run over by a truck would improve matters.

Now for the good news!

The PET scan showed no spread or growth of the cancer. In fact, Dr. Chiorean said the “uptake” indicates a tumor that according to the PET scan isn’t very active right now. I got shot full of radioactive sugar which attaches to cancer. That’s what she means by “uptake.” Please understand…this is nothing short of a miracle! I attribute this to good care by my brilliant doctors…and of course, to all of your prayers! Don’t ever doubt the power of prayer!

Now if I could just get this truck off me.

Much Agape,
Ann

WOW! We have such a awesome GOD! I’m praising
our dear Lord for not letting the cancer spread. You have
    been constantly in my prayers.

You are exactly right about the weekend. Jesus worked
thru each and everyone who attended the weekend. Thanks
you for sharing with us during the “Faith Talk”. Jesus was
greatly honored by your humble words. You greatly taught
each of us how to trust our Lord, honor our Lord and praise
our Lord even in our storms.

Your love and prayers were deeply felt and appreciated.

Ann, you and your family are “Amazing”!

    Love,
    Kim

Ann, I am praising the Lord for your PET scan results and an absolutely awesome Chrysalis weekend. My son was so pumped
up I thought he’d never come down (let’s hope he never does!). He commented to us that he was so amazed at you and Randy’s
witness. He said if anyone needs prayer right now it’s these folks and they spent the entire weekend praying for us! This
really blew him away, PTL!! Thank you guys so much for your part of that weekend. Now we continue to lift you up to the Lord
for a complete healing. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we ask or think!

Ann, I’m so excited!! God is sooooo good!! I’ve been trying to get to a computer ever since Mon. when I hoped you’d hear about your results. I’ll just keep praying that we get our miracle and you are healed. I’ll try to do a better job of keeping in contact with you. I I I ended up with a cold after the weekend too; I’ll pray you feel better really soon. I hope Randy and Meredith didn’t get it too.
