Computer help is on the way by Randy

Ann hasn’t blogged since November 13. A lot of people tell me they get concerned about Ann when she doesn’t write.

I’m happy to report that nothing is wrong. In fact, our lives are more “normal” now than they’ve been since Ann’s diagnosis. Her tumor is stable. We hosted 28 people for Thanksgiving. Ann almost single-handedly decorated the house for Christmas. And she climbed 60 feet up into one of our oak trees to cut out a dead limb. I made that last one up. But her quality of life is actually quite good. The problem is technology. The missing “N” on her computer is well-chronicled. Now the cord to the AC adapter is so frayed it will no longer power up the computer.

So I finally ordered a new keyboard and AC adapter along with enough additional memory to bring the computer up to date. Ann should be back in business shortly.

We are so thankful for all your prayers. Please persist in prayer. We really, truly believe that prayer is working. God is as close as our breath, as close as our heartbeat, as close as our very consciousness. God hears our prayers and answers them. His timing, however, is not ours. Jesus delayed in going to Lazarus so that God might be glorified. Could it be that God is delaying a full recovery for Ann for the same reason? From the beginning of this ordeal, our prayer has been that people would come to know how much God loves them.

Remembering Ann daily in prayer. It is great to hear she is doing good. I look forward to her future blogs. In the meantime am so grateful for the updates that are given by Randy or Erin. God is working. It was evident on the Chrysalis weekend that God was using you two were walking minute by minute in Faith. When I would ask kids what talks spoke to them, many would say the Faith talk. You are boldly proclaiming and demonstrating God’s love to many. Thank you for allowing all of us to share in this journey with you in prayer.

    Randy and Ann
we will NEVER stop praying. Gods word reminds us to pray always
and in thanksgiving. I can not wait to tell everyone I have requested
to pray that God has healed Ann. What a celebration.
    God Bless
    Melanie
