The Guestbook Works Again

The glitch is fixed in the guestbook, so please write to us again!

I hope you all had the chance to see Randy Pausch on ABC the other night. If not, surely you have seen his last lecture, haven’t you? All you have to do is a simple Google search and it will pop up. You must see it. Randy’s book has just been released and I’m eager to read it. Seeing Randy, his gorgeous wife and three young children just touched me so much. The Pausch’s surely need a miracle. Andrew and I watched the show together and that was good, although I do admit I ended up in a puddle on the floor.

What a beautiful day today. I spent it outside digging, dividing, and moving plants. I got one of those new-fangled upside down tomato growers. I don’t have it planted yet, but I’m eager to see how it works. We have such a squirrel population, so I’ve always had trouble growing vegetables. I’m hoping the upside down deal will throw them off. Ya think? I also have some roses I can’t wait to get in the ground.

So it’s been a good day. I hope your day was too.

Much Agape,
Ann

    Ann,
I too watched the interview with Randy Pausch (caught the tail end of it). I watched his lecture on You tube and it moved me to tears. I sent it to all my friends and family and told them to watch it , it will change their life. I have been reading your blog and following your ups and downs with your cancer even though I do not know you and you are a real inspiration. Thinking and praying for you often. I also was in shock to learn of Patrick Swayze’s cancer, Dirty Dancing is my all time favorite movie. Stay strong and hang in there, you have touched many.

    Sister,

Just a note of encouragement to let you know how important this blog is for those who are praying for you. It goes beyond those who regularly comment. In fact I moderate a small email prayer chain for our church, and your entries are forwarded on to our prayer chain and then to a much larger church’s prayer chain.

How far, how wide, only our God knows.

Praying for fruit… that He would get the glory.

Praying for healing.. and relief from pain.

Praying for strength for you and your family and your church family.

    Love you!
