Randy Pausch
Randy Pausch lost his battle against pancreatic cancer today.
I am deeply saddened by the news. Randy was the source of strength and inspiration not only for me, but for the students he taught and the countless others who watched his "Last Lecture" on the Internet, or read his book based on that talk. Randy was also a husband and father of three young children. His book remains number one on the bestseller list, where it has been since its spring release.
Randy was a champion in the fight against pancreatic cancer. This deadliest of all cancers remains woefully underfunded.
I pray for peace for Randy's family and all those touched by his life. He seemed like a member of the family, although I never met him.
Thank you for your fight, Randy! It will not be in vain.

passing. I share your grief. he continues to be an
inspiration as you are, thank you.

I've had chemotherapy twice and surgeries during the past two years, but the tumors keep returning. I have had some hope. I changed my diet
with the help of a dietician from St. Mary's and started eating high calorie soups. The soups seem to absorb into the circulation system better and
faster, and I feel better. I use my blender and mix up flours, oils, sugars, vegetables, beans, fruits, even salad dressings. I enjoy several bowls
each day. The good news is that in recent months my blood tumor markers have decreased. I am sorry to hear about your pain, and about others
with this disease. I know that you are looking for hope. This diet plan is one way I could give advice for hope and longevity. The doctors at IU have
rejected my case saying that there is nothing left they can try. I finally had to try my own methods. If this dietary program helps then it will be
a miracle. Food is a natural and painless way to treat yourself, and many people ignore that. Chemotherapy is one of the worst
experiences I've had, and now I'm trying something simple. I'm lucky to have lived this long and to have discovered this plan. I wish you hope and
longevity.
rejected your case.......you and Ann are in my prayers.......both of you are an inspiration to me as was Randy
