Dear Ann & Randy: We worked together back when we were quite a bit younger. I did the weather, Ann did the news and Randy was our Sports guy...Just want you to know that we all know, serve, and love the same God and I just want to encourage you today. I will keep you in my prayers. John Gerard-Waunsch

Hi Ann, I will add you to my prayer list. I saw my dad go through cancer and treatments last year, it was such a battle for him. God bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and give you His peace and healing.

I prayed for you last night and will continue to do so daily. You are a beautiful person inside and out. I remember running into you at the Fall Festival the year after my kids won the bikes and you recognized me before I seen you. You started laughing and said " Are the kids entered this year for the bike? Do you need a new bicycle yet? Maybe they will win again then you can all ride together ! " We chatted a few minutes then Randy came up and we went our seperate ways. I will never forget that. I will be an old lady in a nursing home and remember the incident and your sweetness.

Hello Ann, A friend shared your newspaper article (Aug. 30th) with me. Seems we are in the same boat - I was first diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer in June 2005. Mine is currently in 2 spots and stable. I'm interested in knowing what medications are in your "Chemo Cocktail". I'm a Christian who has also been on Emmaus Walks and just worked the 100th Walk in Lexington KY this past spring. We share SO many interests. Your article in the paper was inspiring and you seem to be one tough lady. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Ann, I have known of your illness for a long time. You have been on on our prayer list at church. I became sick in Dec. 06 and wasn't diagnosed until July 28, 2008. I have received care for stage IV, Grade 3 Lynphomatoid Granulomatosis at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This is a very rare cancer. I have completed lots of chemo and am doing better. Also received several pints of blood while in hospital. Sorry I couldn't help out with the recent blood drive. My husband and I have been seeing a Dr. Duncan Curry at Vanderbilt and he has talked with us about Gilda's House in Nashville. He is an active participant there as well. I was excited to read that you had visited and are getting things going for one here! I had the same thought, but no idea how to even start something like that. God Bless.
